El president de la Generalitat, Alberto Fabra, ha subratllat l’aposta del Consell per desenvolupar polítiques energètiques autosuficients i que aconsegueixin un equilibri entre l’oferta i demanda.
Alberto Fabra ha realitzat aquestes declaracions durant la inauguració de la Planta Solar fotovoltaica a Alfarrasí on ha destacat que la instal · lació es converteix en la més gran de la província de València. Produirà voltant de 16 milions de quilowatts-hora a l’any, el que equival al consum d’uns 5.000 llars i des del punt de vista mediambiental, la planta evitarà l’emissió a l’atmosfera de més de 9.300 tones de CO2 a l’any. «Amb el que aconseguim aquest equilibri necessari entre la generació d’energies renovables i respecte màxim al medi ambient», ha dit.
«L’autosuficiència l’hem de trobar amb sistemes diferents dels tradicionals, per això les plantes de cicle combinat fan que puguem tenir confiança en aquesta generació d’energia diferent, i per descomptat, en l’energia renovable que fa possible que tinguem confiança en el futur i garantit nostre subministrament », ha explicat el cap del Consell.
Durant el seu discurs, el president ha remarcat que les energies renovables constitueixen la primera opció i l’aposta més sòlida de la Generalitat, per incrementar la generació energètica i satisfer les noves necessitats de llars i empreses de la Comunitat Valenciana.
Així, ha informat que en els últims cinc anys s’ha multiplicat per sis la potència instal · lada d’energia solar fotovoltaica a la Comunitat i comptem amb 5 plantes de fabricació de mòduls fotovoltaics que produeixen el 30% del total de la producció nacional.
A més, ha afegit que les accions realitzades per la Generalitat en suport de les energies netes, han suposat un increment del 14% de la potència elèctrica instal · lada d’origen renovable i una disminució de més del 20% d’energies provinents del consum de combustibles sòlids, «el que suposa una reducció del 22% de les emissions de CO2 a la Comunitat», ha explicat.
També des de la Generalitat s’està apostant per les energies renovables, impulsant l’eficiència i la gestió de l’energia com a eina estratègica per a la millora de la competitivitat en les empreses, la indústria i el teixit empresarial valencià.
I per aconseguir-ho, Fabra ha assegurat que el Govern està desenvolupant el Pla Estratègic d’Energia, «una línia de treball que hem de seguir per poder generar aquesta confiança i aquesta estabilitat necessària per poder garantir a les nostres empreses el subministrament energètic al millor cost i, tot, de manera continuada ».
Aquest Pla Estratègic d’Energia contempla com principals objectius l’eficiència energètica de la Comunitat Valenciana per a aconseguir la reducció en un 1,5% anual de la quantitat d’energia consumida per unitat de PIB.
A més, té com a finalitat reduir el consum i costos energètics propis de l’Administració Autonòmica en un 9% el 2013 i un 20% el 2016, mobilitzar inversions per valor de prop de 9.000 milions en matèria energètica-mitjançant una política energètica institucional d’incentius i inversions que optimitzin els recursos públics existents i gràcies a l’esforç conjunt de l’Administració i el sector privat-i aconseguir que, per l’any 2020, al voltant d’un 50% de la potència de generació elèctrica en servei estigui basada en les energies renovables.
Finalment, Fabra ha reiterat el suport del Consell per seguir defensant els interessos del sector renovable, un marc regulador estable «per seguir traçant el camí que certifiquem amb aquesta instal · lació i que ens pot fer forts i garantir el subministrament, la qualitat i el cost de l’energia ».
